Valence offers soccer in both the fall and spring, basketball in the winter, and volleyball in the spring, giving students the chance to stay active and engaged all year long!

Our Athletics program develops student athletes who embody our core values, respect, integrity, gratitude, hard work, and teamwork, both in the classroom and on the field.

We’re proud to celebrate our recent accomplishments, including being named 2025 CSAA Soccer Champions and 2024 MSAL Queens Soccer Champions, a reflection of our athletes’ commitment and dedication.

Narwhal Players is VCP’s after-school Drama program, operating in co-ordination with The NY Jr.Thespians, as Troupe #10145. Being in Narwhal Players gives scholars the opportunity to explore the performing arts while building confidence, creativity, and community.

Throughout the year, students rehearse and perform in multiple productions. Including a Fall Showcase, participation in The NY Thespians One-Act Festival, “VCP’s Got Talent” (our school-wide talent show - celebrating the diverse talents of our student body), and the year culminates with our annual musical. (Past productions include “Shrek Jr,”, “Goosebumps: The Musical”, “Disney’s Descendants”, and more!)

Open to all scholars in Grades 5–8, NarPods is an enrichment based after-school program, running Monday through Thursday until 5:15 PM. Enrollment in the program is first come, first served.

Each afternoon begins with dedicated time for homework support, ensuring scholars stay on track academically. After that, students dive into a variety of enrichment activities from Visual Arts to Chess to Life Skills.

NarPods provides scholars with a safe, structured, and engaging space where scholars can grow, connect with peers, and discover new interests beyond the school day.
